    Commemorative Lecture Meeting On the 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Fatherland Liberation War   On the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Fatherland Liberation War, the New Communist Party of Yugoslavia and the Serbian National Committee on the Study of Juche Idea jointly organized the commemorative lecture meeting in July 26, 2023. In the meeting, Mr. Viktor Janković, Chairman of the Serbian National Committee on the Study of Juche Idea, addressed as followed: “July 27, 2023 marks the 70 th anniversary of the victory of the people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in the Fatherland Liberation War (1950-1953). The victory is etched in the world history of war. In 1950 the Korean war, the fiercest war since the Second World War, broke out. At that time no one ever thought that the DPRK, founded two years before, would defeat the United States, which had been boasting of being the “strongest” in the world with a history of victory in 11

    Leading the Fatherland Liberation War to Victory July 27, Juche 112 (2023) marks the 70 th anniversary of the Korean people’s victory in the Fatherland Liberation War (June 25, 1950-July 27, 1953) by repulsing the armed invasion by the US-led allied imperialist forces. That the then two-year-old Democratic People’s Republic of Korea defeated the United States, which had been boasting of being the “strongest” in the world, and its satellite forces, was a miracle unprecedented in history. The Korean people’s victory in the war was the fruition of President Kim Il Sung ’s Juche-oriented military ideas, brilliant strategies and tactics and unexcelled leadership, as well as the will to defeat the enemy, unparalleled bravery and mass-heroism displayed by the Korean people, who were firmly rallied around him.   Seminar on the Immortal Exploits of the President Kim Il Sung   On the Occasions of the 29th anniversary of passing away of President Kim Il Sung   Serbian Committee for honoring the memory of Comrade Kim Il Sung organized a Seminar on the Immortal Exploits of the great leader. In Seminar, members of Serbian Committee and NKPJ and Serbian Juche Idea Institution were participants. Mr. Viktor Jankovi ć , head of the Serbian Committee said as followed: “The Juche idea, the guiding ideology of socialist Korea and the cause of global independence, is exerting a great influence on the developing era and the shaping of the destiny of human beings beyond the limits of time and space. This ideological and practical wealth can be called the most precious heritage Kim Il Sung (1912-1994), eternal president of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, bequeathed to the Korean people and the progressive peoples of the world.   Kim Il Sung will always be with Us! Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Entering the modern times, Korea with 5,000-year-long history and brilliant culture gradually weakened in national power owing to the policy of flunkeyism and dependence on outside forces of the feudal Joson dynasty and was reduced to a theatre of competition for the powers.   Kim Il Sung and His On-the-spot Guidance   President Kim Il Sung (1912-1994) spent his whole life on the road for the wellbeing of the people. Every place in the country, be it a far-flung island, large factory or school, is associated with his field guidance. This happened when he was on a field guidance tour of an area in the northern part of the country. His car could not move any farther as the road had just begun to melt. He got out of the car and pushed the car with his entourage. Not minding the muddy water splashing on his coat, he continued pushing the car inch by inch. This scene is etched in the minds of the Korean people. His on-the-spot guidance tour was a course of devoted and self-sacrificing spirit, on which he surmounted difficulties and trials in the vanguard of the people, sharing joy and sorrow with them.
