“USHERING IN A NEW ERA OF DEVELOPMENT IN EXTERANAL RELATIONS”
Member of the SERBIAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE ON THE STUDY OF JUCHE IDEA watched the Korean Picture Album “USHERING IN A NEW ERA OF DEVELOPMENT IN EXTERANAL RELATIONS’’ on May 18th.
Deputy Chief Mr. Marijan Kubik stressed as follows;
“The DPR Korea has set it as the cornerstone of its external activities to improve the relations of friendship and cooperation with other socialist countries and it has been making consistent efforts to this end. Following the collapse of socialism and revival of capitalism in many countries, it made a substantial contribution to safeguarding the socialist cause and strengthening solidarity among socialist countries.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited China several times in 2018-2019 to develop the traditional friendly relationship between the two countries onto a higher level. This demonstrated the DPRK government’s and the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea’s determination to promote its friendly relationship with socialist countries.
The visit of the President Xi Jinping and the Cuban delegation to the DPRK, marked a milestone in boosting strategic communication and traditional ties of friendship and cooperation among socialist countries.
Another noteworthy point in this country’s foreign policy is that it consistently maintains its stance of developing good relations with all the countries that are friendly to it.
According to its foreign policy, the DPRK establishes and develops its relations with other countries, regardless of the differences in ideology and social system, if they respect its sovereignty and are friendly to it.
Even though any of them was hostile to it, the DPRK is willing to write a new chapter in the history of bilateral relationship if it is determined to promote friendship and cooperation on the principle of independence.
The first-ever DPRK-US summit held in 2018 led to a dramatic improvement in the bilateral relationship that had been the worst of its kind in the world, and it rendered a great contribution to ensuring peace and stability in the Korean peninsula and the region.
The validity of the DPRK’s foreign policy has been proved through practice.
The DPRK government and the WPK are steadfast in its determination to develop the relations with other countries through visits, exchanges and cooperation, if they respect its sovereignty and are friendly towards it. Through its proactive external activities the country will encourage the international community to work towards independence, peace and friendship.”
