On the 57th anniversary of the start of work of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea
June 19, 1964 is the day Comrade Kim Jong Il started working in the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. He made great achievements in the construction of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Among his party-building achievements, the greatest achievement was to build the Workers' Party of Korea into a party that achieved reunificaton and unity.
There are many parties in the world. There are factions and differences of opinion in any party. However, there is no such phenomenon in the Workers' Party of Korea.
Comrade Kim Jong Il achieved organizational ideological unification and unity of the party based on the Juche idea and camaraderie. He made all Party members cherish the Juche idea as an unchanging belief, believing in the power of the popular masses, and demanding that the masses be organized and mobilized to solve all problems arising in the Party and the construction of the state. He published lots of Works including “About the Juche Idea” and enriched the Juche idea in accordance with the demands of the times and revolutionary development so that the Juche idea could exert its eternal vitality.
Remarkably strengthening the Workers' Party of Korea into a mature and sophisticated political staff that successfully leads the cause of socialist construction is one of Comrade Kim Jong Il l's important achievements in party construction.
He led the Workers' Party of Korea to establish and implement the correct line and policy as the guiding force of society at every period and every stage of revolutionary development. A representative example is that in the mid-1990s, when the anti-socialist maneuvers of the imperialists were concentrated in DPR Korea, he raised the banner of Songun even higher and established the Songun politics as the leadership method of the Workers' Party of Korea. The Workers' Party of Korea remarkably strengthened the nation's defense power by establishing an ethos of emphasizing the military in the whole society and forcing all members of society to achieve unity of thought and ethos of struggle with the soldiers of the People's Army.
Comrade Kim Jong Il looked far ahead and revealed the direction and method for achieving the country's sustainable development. At the end of the last century, when the country's situation was extremely difficult due to the anti-socialist maneuvers of the imperialists, the Workers' Party of Korea held on to the line of emphasis on science and technology and gave priority to the development of science and technology, actively driving the industrial revolution of the new century. Numerous CNC factories were established all over the country, and the Juche transformation of the Vinalon industry, the fertilizer industry and the steel industry was vigorously promoted, opening the way for the construction of a powerful socialist country.
Comrade Kim Jong Il's achievements have become a valuable legacy for the strengthening development of the Workers' Party of Korea and the endless prosperity of socialist Korea.
