 Stamps Issued to Mark 110th Birth Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung





The State Stamp Bureau brought out new stamps including an individual stamp, miniature sheet and sheetlet on the occasion of the 110th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

President Kim Il Sung’s birthplace at Mangyongdae in balmy April is depicted on the stamp against the background of lots of fireworks going off in the sky of celebration.

The miniature sheet embossed with letters “April 15, the Day of the Sun” bears the image of President Kim Il Sung.

Depicted on the sheetlet are Korean paintings “The eternal Sun,” “President Kim Il Sung trains workers of Kangson as frontrunners in the Chollima Movement” and “A bumper harvest in the field.”

Seen in the upper parts of the stamps are letters reading “The 110th birth anniversary of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung.”
