The speakers answered questions from the audience.

- In the seminar Mr. Viktor Jankovic, Head of the Serbian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said as follows:

‘’DPR Korea–Serbia relations are the bilateral relations between Serbia and North Korea. The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea had established diplomatic relations on October 30, 1948.

Relations had been very close during the time of Josip Broz Tito and Kim Il Sung. Both leaders had taken a neutral stance during the Sino-Soviet split and maintained friendly relations with both the Soviet Union and China. Both Serbia and North Korea are members of the Non-Aligned Movement. Yugoslavia, of which Serbia was a part, was one of the movement's founding members.

During the 1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, the DPR Korean government strongly condemned NATO action against Serbia. The DPR Korean foreign minister Paek Man Sun expressed his full support of the Serbian government against NATO, and urged the world community to prevent the United States from using military force in Kosovo.

Despite the geographic distance between the two countries, the two leaders shared common ground in their respective journeys towards leadership. Both had gained reputations as guerrilla resistance fighters during the Second World War and led newly independent socialist states. Both leaders would come to identify with the Third World internationalism, the solidarity movement of decolonized or non-aligned countries from mainly Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Comrade Kim Il Sung looked to draw upon Tito’s seniority and influence as the last surviving founding member and de facto leader of the Third World’s most significant international organization, the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). Tito, who exerted a considerable influence within the NAM, was predisposed to sympathize with North Korea’s position on reunification.

In accordance with the NAM’s position on non-interference in the affairs of other countries, North Korea harbored no foreign troops nor military bases and called for their removal from South Korea as a precursor to reunification. Moreover, the presence of Yugoslavia and Cuba in the NAM set a precedent for Third World socialist countries to enter the organization.

Yugoslavia, has joined North Korea in demanding “urgent withdrawal of all foreign troops” from South Korea, and describing such troops as “the fundamental obstacle to reunification of the country.”

President Kim Il Sung visit Yugoslavia several times. First time in 1975.

In a brief speech President Tito delivered on Comrade Kim Il Sung departure from Yugoslavia, he said:

‘’Our Korean friends today must fight for the reunification of Korea. In this respect, we agree fully and we shall extend to them full support both in our mutual relations and on the international plane.”

On the 19th of June 1964, 58 years ago, the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il began working at the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea (WPK). This is a very important anniversary because the role of the Workers Party of Korea can never ever be understated.

It goes without saying that the Workers Party of Korea  plays a pivotal role in the Korean revolution and the building of socialism.

The Workers Party of Korea is the general staff of the Korean revolution and makes selfless , devoted efforts for the people . It is the steel strong party of Juche and Songun.

- Mr. Dejan Jovanovic, General Secretary of Communists of Serbia, said as follows:

‘’On behalf of the Communist Party of Serbia, I extend my greetings to the members of the Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Bucharest, as well as to the participants in this conference, comrades from the SRP of Croatia and comrades from the NKPJ.

Before the age of 47, in June 1975, our friend Comrade Kim Il Sung visited our SFRY. The friendship that existed between Marshal Josip Broz Tito and another Kim Il Sung was unbreakable, as was the connection between the SKJ and the Workers' Party of the DNR of Korea. Comrade Tito and comrade Kim Il Sung were the greatest personalities in the histories of their peoples.

They have gone through identical trials throughout history. They were the leaders of the armed revolutions that overthrew capitalism. They were the Supreme Commanders of the armies that liberated the countries from the occupiers. They were the general secretaries of their parties.

They were great world statesmen. They were faithful to the ideas of the classics of Marxism and fenced off the socialisms of the Korean or Yugoslav colors. All the victories were won thanks to the unity of the People's Party and the army.

Courage, camaraderie, solidarity, humanism were their most important qualities. That is why comrades Kim Il Sung and Marshal Tito are in allied history together with revolutionaries who overthrew capitalism such as Lenin.

Mao Zedong Ho Chi Minh and Fidel Castro. The communists of Serbia will never forget the character and work of Comrade Kim Il Sung.

On this occasion, we would like to remind you that on June 19, 1964, comrade Kim Jong Il was elected to the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

This is where his successful and long-term work on building humane socialism begins, learning from the experience of the revolutionary generation of Comrade Kim Il Sung.

When he took over the country in 1994, he successfully overcame great pressures and difficulties. After the counter-revolution in the USSR, Yugoslavia and other Eastern European countries, the DNR Korea became a bone in the throat of the world neo-fascists led by the USA.

These imperialists redirected all their capacities to the overthrow of socialism in the remaining countries, especially in the DNR Korea. The reason is more than simple.

Korean socialism is the most consistent and humane and must therefore be eliminated. The imperialists did not succeed. Kim Jong Il's greatness is reflected in the fact that he fought bravely and decisively with his comrades against imperialist enemies and at the same time built a society tailored to man.

He succeeded thanks to his courage, experience, vision, education and consistent Marxist-Leninist ideological orientation.

Long live DNR Korea!’’

- Mr. Member of the Socialist Workers of Party of Croatia said as follows:

‘’President Kim Il Sung was a great thinker who indicated the road ahead of humankind with an outstanding idea and a seasoned politician in the 20th century who realized the centuries-old desire of the Korean people to live in a new world free from exploitation and oppression.

The DPR of Korea was forged by late Comrade Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the DPRK people, and has a glorious revolutionary tradition. Over a long period, the WPK has led the DPRK people in overcoming difficulties and risks and arduously struggling to continuously make eye-catching achievements in its socialist revolution and construction cause.

For many years, the WPK under the leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il has followed the will of Chairman Kim Il Sung, and led the DPRK people in positively seeking a development path suitable for the DPRK's own situation and has made delightful achievements in the DPRK-style socialist construction cause.

We sincerely wish the DPRK people, under the leadership of the WPK headed by Kim Jong Un, continuously make new and bigger achievements in the historical process of building a strong and prosperous country.

We place on record our support for the demand that the old armistice regime, a product of the Cold War, be replaced by a peace treaty as a first step towards creating a peaceful environment on the Korean Peninsula. We demand that all US troops be removed from the Korean Peninsula forthwith, and that all attempts to destabilize the DPRK be ended immediately.

We stand shoulder to shoulder with you and the Korean people under your great leadership, and express our common conviction that humanity will achieve a better world where the people are the masters of their own destiny.

Comrade Kim Jong Un we wish you success in your state activities and happiness and good health as well as the people of the DPRK wellbeing and prosperity.’’
