Seminar on the Immortal Exploits of Great Leaders for Celebrating the 77th Founding Anniversary of the WPK
On the Occasion of the 77th Founding Anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the Serbian preparatory committee for celebrating the 777th Founding Anniversary of the WPK organized a Seminar on the Immortal Exploits on October 9.
Mr. Viktor Jankovic, Chairman of the Serbian preparatory committee and Chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Serbia address as follows:
“This year the Workers’ Party of Korea, the ruling party in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, will greet its 77th founding anniversary (October 10).
Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK is leading all undertakings such as Party and state building, the way President Kim Il Sung (1912-1994) and General Kim Jong Il (1942-2011) did; he is steadfast in implementing their plans and instructions without the slightest deflection.
After the demise of General Kim Jong Il on December 17, 2011, Comrade Kim Jong Un proclaimed as the ultimate programme of the WPK modelling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and illuminated the road to the final victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche. By doing so, he opened a new phase in implementing the cause of immortalizing the leaders, and saw to it that the history of the great leaders continues for all eternity.
He put forward the slogan “The great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will always be with us!” and ensured that the bronze statues of General Kim Jong Il and the mosaic murals depicting the great leaders were erected in different places of the country.
He also organized and led the work of better laying out the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and its surroundings as befits the holy place of the Sun.
In his work titled The Cause of the Great Party of Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il Is Ever-Victorious, he clarified that the WPK is the party of Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il both in name and in reality, and that to carry out the revolutionary cause of Juche under the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is the historic mission and unshakeable will of the WPK.
After raising the status of the country to that of a strategic state, he advanced the new strategic line of concentrating all efforts on economic construction.
He is developing the party into the powerful vanguard which advances by dint of ideology and unity.
With keen insight into the might of ideology, he has held fast to the ideological theory–giving definite priority to ideological work–as elucidated by the great leaders; he is leading all sectors and all units to resolve their problems on the strength of ideology.
The imperialists are clinging to hostile policies and harsh sanctions against the country in a bid to isolate and stifle it. The DPRK remains unperturbed, firmly defending its socialist system and ushering in a heyday in building a socialist power. This is thanks to the ideological unity of the whole society, which can be called the country’s strongest weapon.
Comrade Kim Jong Un develops the WPK into the party which maintains the people-first principle and makes selfless, devoted efforts for their interests.
Regarding this principle as his first and foremost political doctrine, he formulates all the lines and policies in reflection of the people’s aspirations and demands; he never allows any violation of their interests.
He leads officials to become true servants of the people, who go deep among the masses, listen to their opinions and work devotedly for them, upholding the slogan “Everything for the people and everything by relying on them!”
Despite the worst trials facing the country in recent years he has elevated the nation’s dignity and military strength to the highest possible level and ushered in a golden day in all sectors of the national economy, by dint of the might of self-reliance and self-development.
Along the broad avenue he opened up, the country is now making rapid progress. Modern trucks, tractors, subway trains, trolley buses and trams are being produced by relying on domestic resources, and fish-farming and animal-husbandry bases have sprung up across the country, thus contributing to improving the people’s standard of living.
