Kumsusan Palace of the Sun 

The entire people across the country are paying the highest tribute to Chairman Kim Jong Il, the venerable image of socialist Korea, with their ardent yearning and boundless respect for him with the passage of time on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of his demise.

Marking the greatest memorial day of the nation on December 17, leading officials of the Party Central Committee, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly, the Cabinet and the armed forces organs visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun.

Placed before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il was a flower basket bearing the august name of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Officials concerned laid flower baskets in the name of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

And officials of the armed forces organs laid a flower basket in the name of the Korean People’s Army.

The visitors paid deep respect to the President and the Chairman before their statues.
