On the occasions of the 45th founding anniversary of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, Serbian National Committee on the Study of the Juche Idea organized the commemorative lecture meeting on April 8.

Mr. Victor Jancovic, Chairman of the Serbian National Committee on the Study of the Juche Idea addressed as follows:

“Now, the world is witnessing a dynamic struggle for achieving the independent development of all countries and nations by rejecting domination and subordination, establishing international relations based on independence and implementing democratization of the international society.

This reality testifies to the validity of the Juche idea, which clarifies the truth that the aspirations of countries and nations for independence can never be checked.

The Juche idea is the idea that the masses of the people are the masters of revolution and construction, and that the masses of the people also have the power to propel revolution and construction. In other words, it is the idea that the master of one's own destiny is oneself and the power to carve one's own destiny is one's own.

The Juche idea, which accurately reflects mankind's aspiration for independence and the trend of the times, gives scientific answers to important questions in shaping the destiny of the country and nation.

The issue of resolutely crushing the dominationist moves of imperialism and strengthening unity and cooperation among the people who defend independence, the issue of vigorously advancing the non-alignment movement and fighting against imperialism's strong-willed policy throughout the world, as well as the issue of the Juche ideology The stated issues in principle serve as guidelines for strengthening the international unity of the anti-imperialist self-reliant forces.

The creation of theJuche idea by President Kim Il Sung was a historic event that brought about a fundamental turn in the struggle to shape the destiny of the popular masses. He thoroughly implemented the Juche idea throughout the long course of the Korean revolution, raised the Korean people from colonial slavery to the proud masters of a sovereign and independent state, and built the country into a socialist state of independence, self-reliance and self-reliance.

The great leaderKim Jong Il deepened and comprehensively systematized the Juche idea through energetic ideological and theoretical activities, including the thesis “On the Juche Idea” published in March 1982, so that the Juche idea could shine even brighter as a guiding idea for the Korean revolution and the cause of world independence.

Socialist Korea, which holds the Juche idea as its eternal guiding ideology, is successfully building a powerful socialist country amidst the worst adversity caused by the intensive suppression and blockade of sanctions by the allied imperialist forces.

At present, there are many Juche Ideology Research Groups, continental organizations, and Juche Ideology International Research Institutes that research and disseminate the Juche Ideology, forming an orderly system. Forums on the study of the Juche idea are being actively conducted on a global scale.

On the occasion of the Day of the Sun (April 15) in 2012, the 100th anniversary of the birth of PresidentKim Il Sung, the Juche World Congress was held in Pyongyang, the capital of the DPR Korea, the founder of the Juche idea.

Last year, which marked the 110th anniversary of the birth of President Kim Il Sungand the 80th anniversary of the birth of Chairman Kim Jong Il, discussions on the Juche idea were held on a global and international scale.

Even now, discussions on the study of the Juche idea according to groups, countries and regions are being actively held.

Even through this, one can realize once again how influential the Juche idea is.

Under the banner of the Juche idea, the cause of world independence will advance vigorously, overcoming all kinds of challenges and difficulties in history.”
