Seminar on Celebrating the Founding of the WPK

 

On the occasion of the 78th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Serbian Preparatory Committee for celebrating the 78th founding anniversary of the WPK organized a seminar on great leaders’ achievements on Oct 7, 2023.

Mr. Victor Jancovic, Chairman of the Serbian Preparatory Committee for celebrating the 78th founding anniversary of the WPK and Chairman of the Serbian National Committee on the Study of the Juche Idea addressed as follows:

“The Workers' Party of Korea, which was founded 78 years ago (October 10, 1945), is steadily moving forward along the socialist path despite all the ups and downs and trials of history.

The secret lies, first, in the party's guiding ideology.

The guiding ideology of the Workers' Party of Korea is Kimilsungism-Kimgongilism, which has Juche ideology as its essence. The Juche idea is the idea that people are the masters of everything and decide everything; in other words, the people are the masters of revolution and construction, and the people have the power to drive revolution and construction.

After the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea, an anti-imperialist, anti-feudal democratic revolution was carried out in Korea under the guidance of the Juche idea, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the first people's democracy in the East, was founded. In the 1950s, the imperialist aggressor forces were defeated in the Korean War, reconstruction was completed in a short period of time from the post-war ashes, and a socialist system was established. By activating the power of the popular masses, socialist industrialization was realized in just 14 years.

When socialism collapsed in succession in many countries at the end of the last century, Socialist Korea, with Juche ideology as its guiding ideology, did not even flinch.

Second, the secret lies in the organization and discipline of the party.

The Korean Workers' Party has built the party into a party where the entire party breathes and moves consistently. The leader's leadership was passed through without hesitation from the center to the lower levels, and an ethos was established in which all party organizations and members unconditionally and thoroughly implemented the party's lines and policies.

No trials or storms in history could shake the Korean Workers' Party, which had strong organization and discipline.

Thirdly, the secret lies in the party's mass base.

The Korean Workers' Party has paid special attention to building the party into a mass party that encompasses the broad masses and to making it a mother party that takes responsibility for and cares for their fate. Even when establishing a single line and policy, the demands and interests of the people were accurately reflected, and putting the people's interests first and doing everything for the people was set as the highest principle of party activities.

It is no coincidence that the Korean people absolutely support the Workers' Party and faithfully follow its leadership.

The leaders who built this party are Comrade Kim Il Sung, President of the DPRK and Comrade Kim Jong Il, Chairman of the National Defense Commission, and the leader who is further shaking off the invincibility of the Workers' Party of Korea today is Comrade Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the DPRK.”

After his address, a member of the Juche Idea Committee said as follows:

“The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un paid a historic visit to the Russian Federation to develop the DPRK-Russia friendly, cooperative and good-neighborly relations onto a new higher stage and powerfully encourage the just struggle for accomplishing the cause of independence against imperialism.

Through his official goodwill visit to the Russian Federation, the international position and influence of Juche Korea definitely steering the trend of world political situation were strikingly demonstrated once again to the whole world.”

Following the meeting, all participants watched the Korean Video.

    Leading the Fatherland Liberation War to Victory July 27, Juche 112 (2023) marks the 70 th anniversary of the Korean people’s victory in the Fatherland Liberation War (June 25, 1950-July 27, 1953) by repulsing the armed invasion by the US-led allied imperialist forces.
