On the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Day of Korea’s Liberation (August 15, 1945)

On behalf of the Serbian Juche Idea Committee, we extend our warmest congratulations to the Korean people on the historic occasion of the 80th Anniversary of Korea’s Liberation Day.

This sacred day marks the triumph of the Korean nation in regaining its freedom and dignity, achieved through heroic struggle and indomitable spirit. The achievements made since that momentous day stand as a shining testament to the unity, courage, and determination of the Korean people.

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, President of the State Affairs of the DPRK, and Supreme Commander of its armed forces, wishing him good health, long life, and great success in his leadership for the prosperity and happiness of the Korean people.

We wish the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea continued progress, prosperity, and success in all endeavors for the well-being of its people and the realization of its sovereign ideals.

May the bonds of friendship and solidarity between our peoples continue to grow ever stronger.

On the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Victory in the Korea Fatherland Liberation War, Mr. Marijan Kubik, Deputy Chief of SERBIAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE ON THE STUDY OF JUCHE IDEA, released the statement as follows:   On July 27, 1953 the Korean people won a victory in the Fatherland Liberation War against the armed invasion of the imperialist allied forces. The great leader Kim Il Sung led the war to a great victory. He liberated Korea in his early 30s through the bloody anti-Japanese war and led the Fatherland Liberation War to victory in his early 40s. He was an iron-willed brilliant commander who defeated two imperialist powers in one generation. When the war broke out, it was five years after the country was liberated and a little over two years after the regular armed forces were founded.
